How I created a Liberogic AI video using Gemini Veo 3.1

  • column

The other day, my boss asked me, "Hey Hiratchi, could you make a video using Gemini to be featured in the news?"

I used Gemini to generate an AI video to post a New Year's greeting article!

Now, here's the finished video!

It has a New Year's atmosphere and the president looks just like him, so it's pretty good, isn't it?
But it was quite a struggle to make this video.

Prompt: I would like a New Year's greeting video for 2026. The president's face (photo attached) should look like this, and it should be about 10 seconds long with the president speaking.

00:00 社長: みなさまさん、新年明けましておめでとうございます。

00:03 社長: 本年もどうぞよろしくお願い申し上げますね。

The request was to make the background look like New Year's, and since no greeting lines were specified, I felt that the prompt needed to be more specific.

So I fixed the prompt and made some adjustments, but Gemini only has a limit of three videos that can be generated per day... Ah, that's it for today.

So I asked other staff members to make some too.

00:01 社長: Happy New Year to everyone at Liberologic Corporation!

00:05 (従業員たちの拍手と乾杯)

Apparently the greetings have become English.

If you don't give instructions such as "Please speak in Japanese," it could cause problems in unexpected places.

This is my personal favorite.

"Thank you very much" (laughs)

This was made by a senior colleague, but the forehead gets wider and wider every time I generate it (lol)

Furthermore, the president requested that "all other staff members be gathered together."

00:04 社長: 今年もよろしくお願いしますよー。

The pattern is that you load everyone's icon images and there are people who look like company staff around you.

In the end, everyone reached the limit of three times...

The video that was finally released was easy to make by generating images first and then turning them into a video!

Prompt: I'd like a main visual image for the New Year's greetings in 2026. The president's face (attached photo morimoto_prof.jpg) should look like this, with a background that looks like the Japanese New Year! The other attached illustration images (group1.png) are portraits of the company's staff, so I'd like them to be around in a lively atmosphere.

Prompt: I'd like you to create a New Year's greeting video based on this image. I'd like a video in which the president in the center says, "Happy New Year! I look forward to your continued support this year."

Finally a good video!

It's quite difficult to generate the desired result when there is no audio or the speech is in English.

It takes a certain amount of technique to give detailed and specific instructions.

Why don't you try making an AI video? It's fun!
