Lente Scan is a web service that automatically checks any web page against WCAG 2.2 Levels A and AA. Simply enter the URL of the page you want to test. No account registration is required, and you can view the diagnostic results and explanations of issues for free.
Lente Scan is powered by axe-core, the open-source testing engine, along with Lente Detect, an engine developed in-house by Liberogic. Lente Detect adds detection for roughly 30 items that axe-core has no rules for, including landmark structure, semantic table structure, and ARIA attribute consistency.
In addition, drawing on the expertise of an IAAP-certified Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS), Lente Scan clearly presents the impact each detected issue has on users and the direction for fixing it.
Items that automated testing cannot judge, such as the quality of alternative text, keyboard operation, and screen reader reading order, are shown as "areas requiring manual review." Lente Scan is designed so you can see not only the automated results but also the next points a person should check, rather than deciding conformance from automated results alone.
